I heard you on Coast To Coast AM as one of the “Mystery Guests” on Monday 3/30/11–all I can say is WOW!
I am a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in Florida and I concur 100% with everything you stated about the correlation between envir/bio toxins to a major source–or root cause in Chinese Medicine–for disease.
I have had one case of severe fibromyalgia having source trigger being moved to a moldy basement while employed. I sent this pt to be tested for candida at a clinic that specializes in nutritional protocols. Results showed a shocking candida plus 19 other molds, fungi and bacteria–the worst seen in 20 yr, according to this practitioner! Of course, numerous MDs told this battered pt the standard “You are mentally ill” and worse.
I have been working on my own conclusions since that pt came to me, and have come to the same as you. Serendipity!
So, what is most important, IMO, now that we know the “problem” –are the solutions. There are more than one solution and that is why we all need each other so desperately.
I am going to add my ten cents, if I may. Your explanation of the function of the small intestine was perfect and you triggered in my mind a product I just recently have been exposed to and soon to be trying out on myself: food grade diatomaceous earth. Taken internally for human consumption, it detoxes and mechanically scours out the entire digestive tract. It is simple to take and very inexpensive! The coating of the small and lg intestines cause “dampness” ( term used in Traditional Chinese Medicine), which is not only the breeding ground/petri dish for disease causing organisms; dampness also causes sluggish movement and normal production of qi (biological energy) and blood/body fluids, and is very difficult to remove. Dampness is at the root of most all chronic diseases that I see and that is my personal experience.
Diet and lifestyle must be changed to get well and stay well. I see no other alternative and sorry folks, if that sounds extreme. I know, Trisha. that you know that also.

I heard you on C2C. I have suffered from a condition sense 2004. I have chronic hair being expelled from the top of my ears. Many of the hairs were over six inches long in the beginning. A variety of approx. 30 different insects (including a tick, flee, winged ant, gnats, and flies) have been expelled…All healthy and very much alive. I did take 2000 mile kayak trip down the Missouri River in 2000, being exposed to the rugged out doors. I am not sure that you can help me, but I cannot find any information on such a condition. Trying to explain what is happening to me usually is very difficult and usually ends up being some guessing game of a list ailments. I am not “crazy” and I am not on “drugs”. Hi, Trish. I first want to say that I love you and miss you. I’m so glad your business is doing well. I knew you were on to something big a while back! I’m also writing to you because my 2 year old and 9 month old both have eczema (my 2 year old’s is severe). Ive tried all sorta of topical lotions and meds, and then it dawned on me to see what products you had that would help them! I was going to order them from your site, but I was confused because the eczema skin care line says for ages ten and older, but the baby line isn’t specific to eczema. What do you suggest I order?
